Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time to read my bio. My name is Cassie Ungersma
and this is my third full year teaching private piano lessons since I graduated from
Linfield College in ’08 with a B.A. in general music. My studio is made up mostly of
young children and beginning students, but I am open to teaching anyone who is eager
to learn! I want my students to view learning the piano as an enjoyable experience, and
my goal is to instill a love of learning in each of my students.
I try to encourage consistent practicing by setting practice minute goals with each of my
students and reward prizes when those goals are met. I have a group lesson once a month
for my students which takes the place of their regular lesson, and I strive to maintain
clear communication with parents by sending home monthly progress reports that record
what we do during each week.
My schedule for the fall is almost full, but please do not hesitate to contact me about
