History of the Lynden Chapter
The Lynden Music Teachers Association was started
in April, 1968 by seven Lynden area piano teachers.
They began meeting once a month to discuss topics
such as "The life of Debussy" and "The Pace Piano
Instruction method".  Today, the Lynden Music
Teachers Association boasts 17 members
representing the fields of flute, piano, violin and
voice; and continues to uphold the high standards
set by the charter members.
